Long Term Missionaries
Friends! I wanted to let you know what I get to be a part of the next couple of months.
During my time here at CGA I am doing an apprenticeship with our Long Term Missions (LTM) department. I love the people I get to work with on a daily basis and I’ve recently been handed a cool project, I’m super excited about it! There are people coming from all over the globe, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Philippines, and more. Missionaries of 20 years,
I will be planning the first ever LTM retreat. We are inviting all our long term missionaries to come and enjoy a week of rest, relaxation, community, and support.
The retreat will be held at a really amazing place called The Ark at Lake Lanier. This house is gifted to mission organizations to use for events. The general public can rent the property out on VBRO for family reunions, marriage retreats, or any type of retreat really. It’s not just a house, it’s a Kingdom base.
If you know anything about me, you are aware that I love to love people. I love to help and be involved in any way possible. So this is right in my wheel house of exciting events. I am in charge of scheduling and all kinds of fun like movie nights in their movie theater, or gaga ball in their new gaga pit. They even have a ground level trampoline.
